One of the lovely things about staying at Evening Star is being able to leave the car behind and enjoy the village and coast on foot.

The pretty village of Niton is within easy walking distance, with an independent coffee shop, a quirky pub tucked inside the village post office, a village shop and places to eat. And for a little more history, the characterful Buddle Inn is also within walking distance, with its fascinating connections to the island’s smuggling past.

With beaches, coastal walks and countryside close by too, there’s plenty to discover without needing to venture far from Evening Star — whether that’s a morning coffee in the village, a wander along the coast or an evening stroll into Niton.
